Cooking is one of my favorite things to do. I enjoy making a delicious meal for my family and friends. My
children have often watched me in the kitchen and wanted to help, but since most of my recipes are too
complex for children, they are often relegated to handing me the ingredients and then stepping out of the
way.
That has all changed! Kids in the Kitchen: Fun Food has opened a new world to my kids. Just last
week, after making my family dinner every night for so many years, our children made us dinner. They
picked a recipe from the cookbook and made it themselves - though I was on hand in case they needed
something, and because children should always be supervised when cooking. This book is written
specifically for kids, with bright color photos demonstrating every step as well as clear, concise and easy
to understand step-by-step instructions that most children would be able to follow without any difficulty.
Once the meal was ready, they served us a delicious home-made Chicken Noodle Soup – and it was
the best we’ve ever had!
